01Who we are
AssemblyStep is operated by 集聯科技有限公司 (BazaarLink), a company incorporated in Taiwan. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we use and keep it, and your rights.
02Your STEP file is not uploaded
Your STEP file is read and parsed only in your browser. It is not sent to our servers or to any AI provider. When you close the page the file contents in your browser are gone, unless you saved them yourself.
03What we receive

04AI providers
AI planning requests are forwarded through the BazaarLink API to third-party model providers. Only the text summary listed above is sent. We do not ask providers to train on your content; their own terms apply to how they process it.
05Shared content is public
Only the PDF, video, page preview images, title and summary that you choose to share, and only after approval, are made public, together with your display name. Public content may be copied or indexed by others. You can unlist it at any time; we then remove it from the gallery and share pages, but copies already downloaded or cached cannot be recalled. Your STEP file is never published.
06Cookies
We use only the session cookie needed to keep you signed in (about 30 days, cleared on sign-out) and short-lived cookies during sign-in. Your browser may also store interface preferences locally. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
07Retention and deletion
You can delete saved manuals and shared content at any time in “My manuals”, and delete your whole account and its data there as well. You can also email support@assemblystep.com and we will handle the request within a reasonable time (except where the law requires us to keep records).
08No sale of data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the Service (hosting, sign-in, AI providers, payments, email), when required by law or authorities, or with your consent.
09Your rights
You may request access to, a copy of, correction of, restriction of processing of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at the address below.
10Changes and contact
We may update this policy; significant changes will be announced on the site. Contact and complaints: support@assemblystep.com. This policy is governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China).
